Stacy Thompson

Head of Events , Knowledge Transfer Network (Innovate UK)

Stacy is the Head of Events managing the KTN events team which deliver events across all sectors of the business. She has responsibility for setting the events strategy and enhancing the team’s capability and function. The team delivers over 400 events a year.
Prior to joining KTN in 2016, she held senior events and marketing roles within the financial services sector, managing high performing teams and client events. She studied European Policy and Languages at the University of Kent and spent a period of time working in Brussels monitoring and reporting on European policy development.

Hatty Grant

Marketing & Events Officer , British Society of Echocardiography)

Hatty is the Marketing and Events Officer for the British Society of Echocardiography, a small association with just 5 members of staff. In a team of one for events, marketing and IT, she enjoys a busy role and has spent 2019 planning the launch of a new website and the annual conference for 1000 among other things!
Hatty studied International Events Management at Brighton before joining the Royal Society of Medicine in 2015. After progressing to Assistant Events Team Manager, she moved to the BSE in 2018. Hatty was one of the Conference News 30 Under Thirty in 2017.

Antonia Mitsis

Senior Events Manager , Bray Leino Events

Antonia is a Senior Event Manager at Bray Leino Events, an award-winning creative agency with two distinct areas of expertise, Live Events and Exhibitions.
Antonia has worked across a wide range of live event projects around the globe and her clients include, the Department for International Trade, National Cyber Security Centre, UK Space Agency, HS2 and Academy Ambassadors. Working with these clients, she has delivered a range of events including pavilions, exhibition stands, conferences, networking events and receptions.
In 2018, Antonia won the EN 30 under Thirty award, an award which recognises young and talented individuals within the events industry.

Anna Snoep

Director of Operations – Meetings, Events & Groups, Inntel

Anna has been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years and joined Inntel in 2015 after spending many years in venue sales. She has worked for both large groups such Hilton and Park Plaza as well as independent venues such as Down Hall Hotel.
At Inntel, her role is to ensure that the Meetings, Events and Groups teams continue to deliver their award winning service and exceed their clients’ expectations on every interaction. Their supplier relationships are integral to everything they do, they make it a priority to continuously build on their current venue knowledge.

Lucy has built up a vast knowledge by working at 2 of the largest venue sourcing companies in London. She is currently at BCD Meetings & Events, a trusted, award-winning global meetings & events agency, that employs more than 1,500 passionate, creative employees who believe in the power of human connection. With locations in more than 50 countries, BCD M&E offers customers solutions ranging from event design to full strategic meetings management programs.

Jan Capper

Ceo – Cubo

Jan is CEO of CUBO, the professional association for heads of university commercial services, whose remit includes accommodation, hospitality, conferencing and events.   CUBO itself holds three annual conferences in different academic venues in the UK and Ireland. After a degree in Modern Languages, Jan began her career in group travel, organising standard and customised tours and events in the UK, Europe and Asia. In her previous role as Executive Director of the International Association of Language Centres, she was responsible for B2B events for 20 to 350 people across six continents.
